Lambda Control System

Lambda Control System:

The LCS/2 computer processes the signals coming from the lambda probe, from the ignition, and from the TPS acceleration butterfly valve position sensor. The computer memory contains a lambda probe voltage value corresponding to the stoichiometric mix that must be maintained for all engine operating conditions. The Lambda probe installed in the exhaust header indicates the mix ratio and, at any instant, transmits a voltage value to the LCS/2 computer. The computer checks if the mix is correct, comparing it with the value stored in memory. If there is a difference, the computer activates the linear electromechanically actuators, varying the gas flow until the mix is within the range of the Lambda parameters.
The main lambda control system/2 functions:
Control and management of carburetion during gas operation
Petrol start-up with automatic fuel switching also according to engine temperature
Possibility of emergency gas start-up just by using the switch
Safety device that cuts off the supply to the gas solenoid valve in case of accidental engine shutdown
Built-in relay to cut off petrol injection with automatic return to petrol operation in case of LCS/2 system malfunction
"Start-petrol" functions: the linear electromechanical actuators close the gas line during petrol operation and with the engine off
Dialogue system (with diagnostic connector) using the V05 tester-programmer or the V05 interface kit with dedicated software and serial interface for personal computer
